I am sensitive to trends in fashion and experienced in their design, production, and marketing. This knowledge is informed by 13 years
in the fashion industry, along with diplomas and certifications in fashion, and my career as an artist and educator. I speak fluent English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
I was a Fashion Designer and Product Developer
for 8 years, handling global brands such as Schiesser, Fornari, and Marks & Spencer. I served as a Product Developer at Ecko and Marks & Spencer, and as a Fabric Merchandiser at Levi's and
Tommy Hilfiger. I have specialized in knit, woven, sweaters, and denim. I have sourcing networks in Asia for fabric, garments, accessories, and trim.
I was also the Manager of a fashion boutique in Hong Kong for
3 years, gaining additional experience in procurement, administration, and PR.
I can provide the following services :
1) Fashion design, tech packs, production stretches, fittings, sourcing, simple t-shirt prints, and fabric prints, primarily for Womenswear prototypes and samples, and some Menswear. I am able to design to fulfill the styles you need. I have experience in both trendy
youth wear , basic designs, cocktail/party dresses, homewear, pajamas, and mature lines.
2) Hand-drawn illustrations and production stretches.
3) Presentation boards including Design Boards, Mood Boards, Trend Boards, and Fabric Boards.
4) Styling, whether for a photoshoot or other occasions. I have a great eye for fashion styles and am confident in creating looks appropriate
for your needs.
Each design includes an illustration, production stretch, and some relevant pictures. I can handle fabric and trims sourcing. I will explain workmanship to
the pattern maker or merchandiser after I submit the designs, then follow up on sample appearance and fitting. I am very familiar with Women's and Men's wear fittings.
